BF2142 patch 1.51 announced!
In a recent interview DICE announced that a new patch is in the making for BF2142. This patch will address a few security issues and add a new map (name not yet released). New patch for BF2142 means (as always) a new version of the BF2142 Clan Mod! Sign up for the mailing list to receive updates on the new patch and the development of the next Clan Mod version.

In the new Clan Mod version, we'd really like to include a new, community-made map. The map should preferably suit infantry battles of 8 - 12 players. If you have a map suggestion, please contact us immediately using the form available on the main Clan Mod page or by posting a reply to this thread.

Finally, the Clan Mod Dev team would like to wish you all:

very nice a map only for clanmod ?

i think it should be not more then 4 flags. not dark and not so many ruines like on map verdun. no snow !

i think minsk shoud be a nice map when you remove the long movement.

sry for my bad english ! i open in our forum an post where members post ideas !and tell u after a few days.

4 Flags All can be caputured

no snow in the air or something like this

Just to make one thing clear, I sadly can't make a map myself (I lack both time and experience of map making), so what I meant was that a map made by somebody in the community would be included in Clan Mod, if the creator allows it. So if you know a map that'd suit Clan Mod well, post map name and download link in this thread or in a mail to me (use the contact form on the main page).

Oh, and btw... I've tried several of your (Team WoD) maps and I think you guys have done a great job! I'd love to include this new map you're planning in the mod if you come up with something good. If someone in your team could drop me a mail (use the contact form on the main page) and say hi it'd be great, so that we can talk directly.

I do, however, think that it'd be great if the map was made by how the community wants it. The part I wrote about that it should preferably be an infantry map and for about 8-12 players was because most Clan Mod matches are played infantry and with about that amount of players, so I think such a map would be the most interesting for the CM community. What I'm trying to say here is that all input by the community is very welcome here!

I've tried them both earlier, but in my opinion at least Bloodgulch is way too "open" for infantry battles. That is, there are very few objects, houses and other things on the map for a good infantry match. To some extent I think the same goes for Kentucky.

I'd prefer a map with close infantry fights, such as Cerbere (16) or Gibraltar (16), but maybe even a bit smaller.

but there is no map ! that is like cerbere i got connection to opk mod dev. stuff i ask for a map ! maybe they create one maybe not ..
